Fun, Healthy and Yummy

Mike Waiting for Our company! ( Ohh we had the table in the living room for more room! )

So tonight Game night was at our house, So I decided that I would make healthy snacks. I saw a video about fruit flowers so I thought tat I could do something like that! I went and got honey Dew and pineapple an started! (Ohh and I bought metal cookie cutters in the shapes of stars and flowers at the dollar store.) I sliced the skin off the pineapple and sliced it into 1/2 " slices and used my cookie cutters to make fun fruit! I did the same with the Honeydew. It turned out very cute because we had stars and triangles. JC ( who is 3) though it was great!
We had such a random fun game night. It was great. Riza and Lucas had never played pounce so we had a blast. then we played a round of Apples to Apples!

Thank you Riza and Lucas and JC for a great night!

Serving Size

How many times do we make a meal and have left overs? Well if you are anything like me when you put it all away and then the next day look at this big container things look a little gross, or just to much work. So I decided to start putting thing in serving size.
For example: Mike comes home for lunch and instead of him dinkin around trying to make something or create a sandwich he can just grab  the cont. throw it in the microwave and of the goes. And with Chicken and steaks and stuff we have to buy some many bags because you get 5 to a bag, most the time they get frost on them from being exposed to air all the time from us just getting two pieces, plus it takes up alot of extra room in my little freezer that I indiv. Zip locked them. Ohh the room I created. I even put the mth and year on them so I know when they where bought.

I love it. I can just fill my sink up with really hot water and throw two zip bags into the water and 5 minutes later they are defrosted and ready to be cooked! Super easy and much better!

STOP WAITING!

Getting Things Done

Like any other habit, learning to stop putting things off for later is something that will take time. Creating the self discipline to "do it now," rather than put if off is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. Lifestyle changes should always be approached with baby steps.

Here's how to get started...

  1. Recognize. Learn to recognize tasks that you always seem to put off or avoid. Spend a week or two making a list of these tasks each time you recognize one.

  2. Prioritize. Once you have a list of tasks that you typically delay, prioritize your list, putting the tasks that would have the biggest impact on your organization first.

  3. Organize. Start with the first task on your list. Concentrate on only one task at a time so you do not become overwhelmed. Find a simple solution to the problem and work on getting into the habit of doing that task immediately instead of putting it off for later.

Continue working on one task at a time until doing that task right away, instead of putting it off, has become second nature. Only then are you ready to move on to the next task on your list.

You will begin to notice that when you take a few extra seconds to organize now rather than waiting for later you will be far less overwhelmed and your life will run a lot more smoothly.
